Excitingly, Maramec Spring Park is set to become a vital sanctuary for monarch butterflies, bees, and declining pollinators. With the help of a $20,000 grant, 150 acres of parkland will transform into massive pollinator habitats. Situated on the edge of the monarch spring breeding territory, the park will support the life cycle of North America’s migratory monarch butterflies and provide a healthy habitat for various pollinator species, including the endangered Rusty Patched Bumble Bee.
