Maramec Spring Park

School Education Programs

Take your teaching to the next level with our educational programs at Maramec Spring Park. Harness the wonders of the natural and cultural world to engage and inspire your students. Our programs provide enriching, hands-on experiences that promote environmental awareness, creativity, and a deeper understanding of the world around us. Elevate your lessons with the magic of nature!

Our Park naturalist provides hands-on, interpretive programming, typically held outside or under a picnic shelter, both located in the park. These programs are suitable for preschool through fifth-grade students and can be adapted for middle and high school levels. Program duration varies based on participant age and time constraints, typically 30 minutes to 1 hour. Additionally, we can offer alternative programs or explore different topics upon request.

Check out our Educational Programs Guide here!

Our school programs are available at no cost, and some can even be brought off-site to your campus!

Upon arrival at the park for on-site programming, buses enter for free.

**Any additional vehicles will be required to pay the $5 entrance fee.

Scheduling:

Our programs can accommodate groups of 30-40 participants, including teachers and chaperones. In cases where multiple sessions are required, teachers can utilize our self-led options as students rotate through the naturalist-led program. To ensure availability and smooth coordination, please schedule all programs at least 30 days in advance. When scheduling, please be sure to provide the following details:
